Aim and Objective of KCC
Aim:
To help all young people in Myanmar (particularly ethnic youth) have access to learn computer skills and internet skills, document writing, opportunities for social media, communication and using search engines; moreover, train them to develop English communication skills; written and spoken conversational English, critical thought, creative writing and expression via online educational programs and also at the classroom.
To help them have a chance to learn higher (further) education from Myanmar Government schools and to be able to study abroad with recognized qualifications.
Objective:
To be able to work on computers with basic through to advanced skill levels. Have computer and internet skills: Advanced research, data collection (entry and analysis)
To be able to work in their communities places, establishing their own jobs by using “KCC” skills.
To sow a seed in young people’s minds that ethnic education options also offer qualifications in addition to Myanmar Government Education.
To be able to work effectively in their organizations, themselves and in their community using computers, the internet and advanced English Skills.
To support organizations to become stronger with well-trained young people.
To be able to use internet and computer skills effectively in their lives, organizations and communities, rather than the current situation of seeing technology as only Facebook, Viber, Youtube.
To produce more educated people who will make communities and organizations strong.
To be able to acknowledge ethnic minority educational options by giving accreditation from the Myanmar Government that are recognized in Myanmar and lead to study abroad.
